Physiotherapy involves the prevention, assessment and treatment of disorders of human movement due to physical disabilities, trauma or illness. It also helps patients relieve pain, improve muscle strength, joint range and mobility, increase exercise tolerance and improve respiratory function.
Thank you @jebhealth for hooking me up with the guys at @orchardhealthclinic For months I’ve been suffering from a knee problem on my right leg that occurs mostly when I perform heavy squats in the gym. During the consult, Isaac (my physiotherapist for the day) had me perform a few exercises and movements to identify the problem. And it all stems from stiffness and lack of mobility. Definitely feeling better after the session!! If any of you guys suffer from sports injuries or even just a slight nagging pain, it’s important to get it checked by professionals so the problem doesn’t exacerbate.
